Better Than Sand Castle : Beach Art Gallery - Sometimes the sand castle is just that—a beach-built model of medieval architecture. But when the pros get involved, it can become so much more.
(This sculpture, which was 9 ft high and 7 ft across at the base, was crafted by Justin Gordon and a teammate in 1992, at the World Championship Sand Sculpting Competition at Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia.)
